Every figure for every club here is read from the maker's own product page, with a shop's new price standing in where the maker publishes none and the club page saying which (prices read 2026-09-06); a cell that says not published means nobody publishes it and we do not guess. Sorted by price, cheapest first. How we compare.
How the picker chooses
It never ranks. Each choice removes the clubs that cannot fit you, and what is left stays sorted by price:
- Handicap maps to the maker's own category: super game improvement (the widest soles and most offset) for new golfers and 25 and over; game improvement for 15 to 24; players distance for 8 to 14. Drivers, woods and hybrids marked maximum forgiveness, and mallet and zero-torque putters, stay in every band, because they suit every band.
- Swing speed keeps the clubs whose stock shaft list includes a flex for you: A (senior) or L (ladies) for a slow swing, R for average, S or X for fast. Age is only a stand-in for speed; if you know your driver speed, use that.
- Budget uses the price shown on the maker's page on the read date, or the list price when no current price is shown. A club with no published price is only shown under "Any".
- Hand keeps clubs the maker sells in that hand. When the maker does not list hands, the club stays visible and its Hand cell says not published, so you are never shown fewer clubs than exist.
- Built for keeps women's lines and ladies-flex options, or men's and unisex lines. Height adds a note about shaft length; makers do not publish per-height models, so it removes nothing.
