About forgiving.golf

forgiving.golf is an independent comparison site for golf clubs that forgive a miss. It is run by a small publisher, not by a club maker or a shop, and it earns nothing from the order of any table.

Why this site exists

Most pages about forgiving golf clubs are lists of opinions. The numbers that actually decide forgiveness, the offset, the sole width, the moment of inertia where a maker publishes it, the stock shaft flexes and the 7-iron loft, are scattered across dozens of manufacturer pages in a dozen layouts, and the price sits somewhere else again.

This site puts those numbers in one table per question, sorted by price, with the maker's page and the date we read it beside every figure. A high handicapper, a returning senior, or someone buying a first set can filter to what fits them and see what each choice costs today.

The site covers the clubs a forgiveness shopper is choosing between: game improvement and super game improvement irons, the highest-inertia driver, fairway and hybrid in each maker's line, mallet and zero-torque putters, and complete boxed sets for beginners, seniors and women.

How we work

We do not hit, test or measure clubs. Every specification and price on this site is read from the manufacturer's own product page, and each record carries that URL and the date it was read. Where a maker does not publish a figure, the cell says not published. We never estimate it.

Tables sort by a neutral criterion, price by default, and a reader can re-sort by any column. Whether a shop pays us a commission never affects whether a club appears or where it sits.

Golf terms are explained the first time they appear on a page: offset, sole width, moment of inertia, loft and shaft flex are all defined in plain words on the page that uses them and again in the glossary.

When a fact changes, the record changes and the read date moves with it. We do not keep a stale price on a page because it was once true.

Who runs it and how it is funded

forgiving.golf is published by Adrian Nutiu, an independent web publisher based in Romania who runs a small portfolio of comparison and reference sites. There is no club maker, shop or fitter behind the site.

The site is funded by affiliate links: when we join a shop's affiliate program, links to that shop may earn a commission on a purchase, at no extra cost to the buyer. On launch day no program has been joined, so every shop link is a plain link. The affiliate disclosure page lists which programs, if any, are active and how their links are marked.

There is no advertising on the site and there are no sponsored placements. Nobody can pay to be included, moved up a table or described differently.

Corrections and contact

If a specification, a price, a shaft option or a hand availability is wrong, write to hello@forgiving.golf with the club's page on this site, the field, the value you see on the maker's page and its URL. Corrections that cite the maker's page are applied on the next build and the read date is updated.

Makers and shops can use the same address and the same standard. A public first-party page is the evidence we act on; a private note tells us where to look but cannot replace a page a reader can inspect.
