How this site is funded
forgiving.golf is funded by affiliate links and by nothing else: no advertising, no sponsored placements, no paid inclusion. This page says exactly which links earn anything today, how they are marked, and what a commission can and cannot change.
The status today
No affiliate program is active. Every link to a shop on this site is a plain link that takes you to the shop's own search for the club; we earn nothing when you click it or buy. This page will change the day a program is joined, and the note at the bottom of each table will name the shop.
Links to the makers' own product pages are plain links in every case; they are the sources the tables are read from, and they are there so you can check the numbers.
How affiliate links are marked
Every shop link carries the sponsored attribute in the page code, whether or not a program is active, so the markup is already honest the day one is joined. The "how this page is funded" note under each table says in words whether any shop pays us. The makers' page links are marked as ordinary links.
What a commission cannot change
- Inclusion. A club is in the dataset because it is a forgiving club a maker sells today, read from the maker's page. No shop can add one or remove one.
- Order. Every table sorts by price by default, using the maker's own page as the price source. A reader can re-sort by any column. No commercial arrangement enters the sort.
- Description. The forgiveness cues, the flexes, the lofts and the hands are the maker's published figures. Nobody can pay to be described differently.
- Shortlists. The written shortlists are derived from the table by a stated rule (the lowest-priced clubs in a category), so they cannot be steered.

"Program the shop runs" is what the shop publishes about its own affiliate program, recorded for transparency; it is not a claim that we are enrolled. The "active" column is the only one that says whether a link earns anything.
Why disclose at all
Because a comparison site's only asset is that you can trust its order. Affiliate networks require disclosure, European consumer law requires commercial intent to be identifiable, and both of those matter less than the plain fact that an undisclosed commercial link would make every table on this site worth less. So the rule is simple: the note is on every page that has a shop link, it says what is true today, and it changes only when the truth does.
